What is Shoppi Pay

It’s the payments engine inside the Shoppi ecosystem. At checkout in the Shoppi app you select Shoppi Pay and we process the payment securely. That’s why we can offer real buyer safeguards if something goes wrong—e.g., a merchant doesn’t fulfill.

For merchants, Shoppi Pay is also a POS that accepts payments in-store and online with reconciliation, reporting and multi-language support.

How it works (Shoppers)

  1. Discover a product or service on Shoppi.
  2. Go to checkout and pick Shoppi Pay.
  3. Complete payment and get confirmation/tracking in the app.
  4. If the merchant fails to fulfill on time, open a request: we review and intervene.

Refund timing also depends on payment networks/issuing banks.

How it works (Merchants)

  1. Sign up as a merchant on Shoppi and enable Shoppi Pay POS.
  2. Accept online (Shoppi checkout) and in-store (QR/compatible terminals).
  3. Track payments, refunds and disputes from your dashboard.
  4. Meet fulfilment SLAs and your shipping/returns policy.

KYC/KYB and tax details may be required for payouts.

Shoppi Pay Buyer Protection

If an order paid with Shoppi Pay isn’t fulfilled or is materially different from the description, you can request assistance. We verify with the merchant and may issue a refund or other remedy.

  • Coverage for non-fulfilment or non-delivery.
  • Coverage for significantly not as described.
  • Typical exclusions: non-refundable by law, personalized items, consumed digital goods, policy violations.
  • Open a ticket within X days from the expected delivery date (see full terms).

Shoppi Pay POS for merchants

Accept in-store payments via QR, payment links or compatible terminals. Receive payouts, manage refunds and disputes, and keep everything aligned with your Shoppi catalog.

Fees are set by Stripe and may vary by country, card type and volume. The examples below show standard US pricing. For other countries, see the official Stripe pricing pages.

Stripe Connect (for marketplaces)

  • Application fees: You can add your own platform fee on top of Stripe processing.
  • Payouts: A fixed fee may apply per payout to connected accounts (e.g., US$0.25 in some regions).
  • Alternative currency payouts: +1% of the payout amount (where used).
  • International/FX: International card surcharge and FX fees are set by Stripe per account country.
